Construction of the footpath along the South side of the B3081 between Shalford Lane and ‘The Smithy’ will commence on 22 May 2024 and last up to 4 weeks. While the majority of the work will be along the roadside, it will be necessary for some construction work to take place on part of the village hall grounds: Temporary safety fencing will be erected. Access to the village hall will be as normal.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS. Traffic light controlled single file traffic on the B3081 between Shalford Lane and ‘The Smithy’; joining traffic (from dwellings) will not be controlled by traffic lights. The slip road to Shalford Lane will be closed, but vehicle access will be maintained to-and-from Shalford Lane/ Village Hall.
